User Guides
Step-by-step guides for running your store from the Orchard admin. No coding
required. These pages assume you can sign in to your admin at
admin.theorchard.dev and have at least the role needed for the task.
New to Orchard? Start with the Merchant quickstart, which takes you from login to your first published product. Come back here for the day-to-day reference.

A few conventions
- A path like Products → Add product means “click Products in the left nav, then the Add product button.” The left nav is grouped; if you don’t see an item, your role may not include it (see Settings → Users & roles).
- Test vs live. Most stores run a test mode and a live mode side by side. Actions in test mode never touch real money or real customers. Confirm which mode you’re in (shown in the top bar) before doing anything that charges a card or emails a customer.
- Screenshots. Placeholders below mark where a screenshot belongs; the live admin is the source of truth for exact button labels, which can change between releases.

For the vocabulary behind these screens (orders, fulfillments, variants, subscriptions), see Concepts.
